The advantages of sound-absorbing coverings

Acoustic correction of the environment

Acoustic correction of the environment

Sound-absorbing coverings correct the acoustics of the environment, reduce perceived noise and improve sound perception. Acoustic perception has an influence on the body and spirit. Too much noise can cause, among other things, decreased concentration, nervousness, cardiovascular problems, sleep disorders and decreased learning ability.

Aesthetic function

Aesthetic function

Equipping the environment with a wood-based acoustic covering is a way to characterize it with a warm and welcoming design, designed to combine technical needs with architectural ones contributes to creating a visual identity of the environment, also depending on its intended use and the desired style.

Thermal insulation

Thermal insulation

Sound-absorbing panels, if correctly installed, can contribute to the creation of an effective thermal insulation system for the internal space, helping to optimize energy savings.

Healthiness of the environment

Healthiness of the environment

All our wood-based panels are produced with CARB Phase 2 certified MDF, i.e. with very low formaldehyde and VOC emissions.

Safeguarding environmental protection

Safeguarding environmental protection

Our company, aware of its social function, adopts a policy aimed at protecting the environment. In fact, for the production of standard ennobled MDF panels, it uses exclusively FSC® certified raw materials, coming from forests managed correctly and responsibly, according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards, and from other sources check.

Security

Security

All Soft Sound acoustic coverings are fireproof, Euroclass B-s2, d0 certified on the finished product, they are also CE AVCP1 marked with CE certificate of Constancy of Performance issued by a Notified Body as per legal obligations .

Why use wood-based sound-absorbing coverings

The sound-absorbing covering is a system designed to combine acoustic optimization, thanks to high sound absorption performance, with maximum attention to design strong> of architectural surfaces and internal environments. It is a solution that allows great flexibility and customization and in which the main purpose is to improve comfort within living spaces.  Wood-based sound-absorbing coverings are therefore particularly useful in the design of all those environments where excellent sound quality is required such as cinemas, theatres, auditoriums, conference rooms and classrooms. They also make any type of interior space more comfortable and welcoming.

Technical characteristics of sound-absorbing coverings

The sound-absorbing performance is an essential element in the design evaluation and choice of sound-absorbing coverings. In the case of our Soft Sound acoustic coverings, the performance is linked above all to the different options of milling and perforation of the panels or microperforation which we create with the best material useful for the purpose: the MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) fireproof melamine faced.

Sound-absorbing MDF coverings

MDF cladding is ideal for safety in public environments. In fact, the material is solid and compact and adapts to the most diverse aesthetic and functional needs because it can be worked with precision. It is also a fireproof material and with low environmental impact, made with FSC® certified eco-sustainable wood. In addition to the melamine finishes with a natural wood essence effect, the acoustic cladding can be produced veneered with natural or composite wood essences, or lacquered with fire-retardant paints in RAL or sample colours.

Greater healthiness of environments

A feature of great importance in the design of collective spaces, sound-absorbing coverings guarantee healthy and safe environments, in fact they are produced with CARB Phase 2 certified MDF, i.e. with very low formaldehyde and VOC emissions. Our Soft Smart and Soft Top lines can be made with a melamine surface with a bacteriostatic or bactericidal effect. Thus contributing to preventing the proliferation of infectious diseases.

Domande frequenti sui rivestimenti fonoassorbenti e sulle pareti acustiche
