Suspended sound-absorbing panels: when to choose them for your ceiling

The sound-absorbing ceiling (or suspended) panelsare an ideal solution for all those environments where greater integrationand respect for space is required architectural constituting a valid alternative to traditional sound-absorbing false ceilings.

Sound-absorbing MDF ceiling panels with excellent acoustic performance

The suspended sound-absorbing panels, like traditional false ceilings, guarantee excellent acoustic performance. The main characteristic is given by the conformation of their structure because the sound waves are absorbed by both the lower and upper surfaces of the modules.

The Soft Sound sound-absorbing panels are mainly made of melamine MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). It is a solid and compact material that can be worked with precision and ease, thus adapting to the most varied architectural and functional needs.

Fireproof and safe, the panels also have a low environmental impact, because they are made with FSC^® certified MDF derived from wood coming from forests managed correctly and responsibly, according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards, and from other controlled sources. As an alternative to the wood-effect surface finish, the panels can be produced veneered with natural or composite wood essences, or lacquered with fire-retardant paints in RAL or sample colours.

Suspended sound-absorbing panels for buildings with architectural constraints

Suspended sound-absorbing panels can be installed in environments that do not allow the use of traditional false ceilings due to architectural constraints, such as historic buildings, or in any case in all environments where it is not possible to intervene directly with the covering of the floors. They can be preferred to sound-absorbing false ceilings also to favor an aesthetic choice based on the lightness and contemporaneity of the spaces.

Sound-absorbing ceiling panels and integrated lighting

The acoustic ceiling panels can be equipped with integrated LED lighting. This solution proves to be particularly functional during the installation phase, providing a support that leaves the original surface of the spaces unchanged even for the installation of lighting fixtures.
